It will build on the already established A2 foundation, introducing more complex grammatical structures and expanding vocabulary for more nuanced and independent communication.

General B1 objective: Students will be able to understand the main points of clear and standard messages on familiar topics regularly encountered at work, school, leisure, etc. They will be able to cope with most situations that may arise while traveling in a region where Romanian is spoken. They will be able to produce simple and coherent discourse on familiar topics and topics of personal interest. They will be able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions, and briefly provide reasons and explanations for their opinions and plans.
