Dr. Silviu Trifanov is an Anesthesia and Intensive Care (AIC) resident at the Fundeni Clinical Institute, the largest liver transplant center in Romania. His work essentially involves maintaining a patient's vital functions in critical situations: before, during, and after surgical procedures, or in cases of severe, life-threatening illnesses.

To enable him to pursue a one-year residency training in Belgium, we prepared Silviu at the Andreea Berkhout Academy for the French language exam required for registration with the Medical Council in that country. In just a few months—often battling the exhaustion of hospital shifts—we helped Silviu reach a C1 level.
