Elena, OET Nursing

General Nurse, Elena, graduated from the Post-secondary School "Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt" in Pașcani. She chose this profession out of a genuine desire to be alongside people during the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Immediately after finishing her studies, her path continued in Scotland, where she worked in elderly care, coordinating activities within two nursing homes. Although she hadn't previously practiced as a nurse assistant in Romania, Elena felt it was time to take the step towards international recognition of her profession—and the first obstacle was the language barrier.

"The hardest part was finding the energy after a long day of work. I would come home exhausted and yet I had to choose: relaxation or the future. I chose the future. At Andreea Berkhout Academy, everything was explained to me clearly and calmly, and the fact that I received structured materials helped me enormously."

The support of her family—especially her husband—was the "emotional engine" that pushed her to continue and believe she could succeed.

Today, with these excellent results, Elena is one step closer to working in her dream nursing home, this time in the role she prepared for with all her heart: that of an internationally recognized nurse.
