Medical Heroes

Children in pain, tortured by the ruthless disease of the century. Exhausted parents, trying to survive the despair. Diagnoses, tears, chemotherapy, happiness—though not necessarily in this order. And beyond them, the doctors and nurses in Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Neurology. Soothing pain, wiping away tears, trying to stand as a shield between suffering and the little ones prematurely aged by the duplicitous game of their genes.

We, at Andreea Berkhout Academy, are honored to teach these superheroes English. To help them evolve and pursue their mission to become better and save more smiles from fading away. Joining the Pediatric Oncology Hospitals in Bucharest, Prague, and Bratislava, the Oncology Institute in Chișinău, with its pediatric onco-hematology department, has now entrusted us with their linguistic preparation.

We thank these life-saving professionals for taking time out of their limited free moments to do more and do better.

Together, we hope to wipe away more tears and bring more smiles.
